Our Last Night in Vegas

Ok, I know I said four nights in Vegas and then I only mentioned three. My bad. Our last day in Vegas was our 31st Anniversary. And we are still on our honeymoon. We headed to Clark County Wetlands only to discover we could only take the dog on the outside walkway and not in the park. So we decided to head to Seven Magic Mountains. This was on the other side of Vegas heading toward Los Angeles. It is 15 miles outside Vegas. All I can say is Wow.

See all 7 mountains of colored rocks? That’s it. I still don’t get it. Nothing magical to me and lots of driving for that. Oh well. You win some, you lose some. Next we took Chanel back to the camper and we went into town to ride the High Roller. Now that is something you really don’t want to miss. It really was the highlight of our day and it was so slow (business wise) the two of us got the cabin all to ourselves. This is bigger than the London Eye. It moves very slowly so it never stops. You walk on as it goes. It takes 30 minutes to go around and you can see all over the city. It really was amazing.

Later we went to dinner and headed back to the camp. Tomorrow is a big day. We are meeting up with the kids to go on to Zion, Grand Canyon and Arches. Going to be a full week.
